Brigitte St Hilaire

I am born at the Rhine River in Germany, in Neuwied am Rhein!

For the first decade of my professional career, I worked in the Airline Industry in Frankfurt am Main as Sales Representative. After relocating to the United States of America, I obtained an administrative job in the retail industry. California became my second home.

Though being successful in the business world, my lifelong passion is teaching and writing.

I have been tutoring German learners consecutively for the past ten years.

My Degrees and Education in the field of language teaching are:

• Masters in German Literature and Culture, Goethe University, Frankfurt am Main.
• Certificate in Teaching Foreign Languages, Cal State San Bernardino.
• Specialization in Adult Language Education. UCI, California.
• Teaching philosophy: Learn German the Creative Way – Deutsch lernen mit Poesie

Currently, I reside in Northern California, where I teach Adult Learners and Heritage Speakers at the STV – German Language School, Sacramento.
